What is real. good. embodied. worship?
Why do some worship services fill us up while others fall flat? How might we approach designing worship that leaves people of all ages with a sense that they have just experienced, and been a part of, something of worth? Join us for an exploration of these questions and more, across congregations and generations, as we consider the whys and the hows of worship that moves us.
In this workshop we will
- Explore what kinds of worship elements "work" and why...
Deconstruct the myths about multigenerational worship...- Grasp the urgency in making multicultural worship relevant today...
...towards creating and leading a more embodied worship experience!
LOCATION: First Parish in Bedford, MA Unitarian Universalist (Directions)
**This workshop will also be offered in East Greenwich, RI.
EVENT FEE: $50 per person. $35 for each teammate after four from the same congregation.
While we know that not all individuals are in a position to pay these fees, since the learning is on behalf of the congregation, we assume that congregations will select and financially support participants to come. However, if these fees are prohibitive even to the congregation, please be in touch with us. We do not want cost to keep anyone away.
